Introduction

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to read and write.  But, for some reason, I never started a "BLOG" because it seemed SO overdone.  I mean really....look around.  It seems EVERYONE has at least one.

I have read every blog subject from religion, to family, to work, to sex, to relationships and parenthood (huge this one!), to pets, to politics, to blogging for the sheer sake of cursing and whining.  I don't think there is a topic that hasn't been covered.  Heck, I have even seen blogs about...well, BLOGS and how to write a BLOG.  Uffda!

Well, here I am, attempting to justify my misplaced faith in my questionable ability to have something of value to contribute to the wonderful world of ... you guessed it..BLOGGING.  Maybe this would be best accomplished with the accompaniment of a bottle of wine or a good stiff drink.  This last statement applies to me, but may serve you well as the reader also.

I imagine I will at some point touch on just about every subject of the spectrum as it applies to my life.  I mean, let's face it, most blogs are all about the life of the blogger, and what happens on any given day.

I am a girl, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend and sometimes, a nutcase.  I always have something to say and generally don't wanna just sit and talk.  I am opinionated, slightly judgmental at times and love to find out what makes people tick.  I am involved in a couple of web communities that are made up of other moms like me and have gained some of the best guidance, support and advice ever,  from the awesome women that make them up.  These women keep me grounded, empathize and understand where I am coming from, validate my thoughts and feelings and once in a while...give me the swift kick in the ass that I need.

Now that you know a little bit about me, I will close this post with a note of

WARNING

This blogger will have topics that may or may not be appropriate for all viewers. She may also be inclined to throw in some colorful profanity from time to time.  And, she will most definitely make you scratch your head with her insertions of random things totally unrelated to the topic at hand.

Now that my first post is complete, I actually feel a little better, less apprehensive and am looking forward to this thing they call...blogging.
